BOBATH THERAPY - The main principle of Bobath therapy and infant massage is to convey the feeling of movement, not to teach movement and the functional and playful possibilities associated with it. Therefore, a specific therapy program is not used, but the selected therapy techniques are adapted to the individual needs of each child. Sessions that combine massage and Bobath exercises help the child to better feel their body and its capabilities. Bobath therapy develops new movement skills and stabilizes existing ones, normalizes muscle tone and movement coordination.
SCHROTH METHOD – using specific corrective, asymmetrical exercises and breathing exercises, as well as various manual techniques, a physiotherapist corrects the habitual posture of scoliosis patients and teaches them to maintain the corrected posture in their daily activities. Schroth method training provides the patient with the necessary knowledge and skills that help control their posture throughout their lives.
BABY HANDLING METHOD – handling is a method that teaches how to properly hold and take care of a baby. It is crucial for their safety and development. Handling also encourages bonding and can help with physical development. It is very important that during the first year of life, the so-called tone or muscle tension is reduced and the left and right sides of the baby's body develop evenly. Therefore, it would be
valuable for mom and dad to learn baby holding techniques to promote, not slow down, the baby's development. By holding, lifting and putting down, dressing and carrying the baby appropriately, we help the child get to know their body and engage in movements.
